Estimados Hermanos y Hermanas,

Quiero darles un saludo en nuestro Señor Jesucristo de bienvenida a actividades parroquiales después de estas vacaciones, esperando que las hayan disfrutado y gozado en el Señor y en Familia.

Les comunicamos varias cosas que les pueden ser muy útiles:

EN CUANTO A LOS SACRAMENTOS:

1. BAUTIZOS: Se celebran los primeros domingos de cada mes  a las 2:00 pm.  Las charlas para padres y padrinos,  son  los terceros miércoles de cada mes a las 7:00 pm. En el salón de la oficina de la iglesia.

Responsables: Padre Edgar Martínez y la pareja de Esposos José y Damaris Cornielle.

2. PRIMERAS COMUNIONES: Las inscripciones se han venido realizando  a partir del mes de Junio hasta Agosto. Y la Catequesis comenzará  en el mes de Septiembre. Los días martes  a las 6:30 pm. En el  salón de la oficina de la iglesia.

Responsable: La Catequista Verónica Reyes.

3. CONFIRMACIONES: Las inscripciones se han venido realizando a partir del mes de Junio hasta Agosto. Y la Catequesis comenzará  en el mes de Septiembre. Los días domingos a las 3:30 pm en el salón de la iglesia.

Responsable: Ramón Matos y su esposa Emily Gómez.

4. MATRIMONIOS: Contactar al Párroco por lo menos con doce meses de anticipación.

Para inscripciones de estos tres Sacramentos contactarse con la Oficial de la Parroquia, Sra. Trish Wiencis.

5. SACRAMENTO DE LA CONFESIÓN: En la semana contactarme a mi celular: 905 599 9720. Los días Domingos a las 5:30 antes de misa en la sala de reconciliación.

 6. LA SANTA MISA: es todos los domingos a las 6pm. Y contamos con la Escuela Dominical para los pequeños a partir de los 4 años. Los niños son llamados al frente del Altar por el Padre al inicio de la Eucaristía y llevados por las Catequistas para que por medio de un lenguaje sencillo y  cantos conozcan al Señor. Los niños retornan al Templo a la hora de la Presentación de Ofrendas. Todos los adultos voluntarios requieren del Police Check.

7. UNCIÓN DE LOS ENFERMOS: si en tu familia algún miembro se enferma por favor llamarnos para asistir al enfermo, llevarle el consuelo, la fortaleza y la esperanza al enfermo a través de este maravilloso sacramento.

EN CUANTO A LO PASTORAL:

Entre los programas que se vienen realizando tenemos:

1. CATECISMO PARA NIÑOS: entre 4 y 12 años,  los días martes a las 4:00 pm.

 Donde se busca que los niños se formen como discípulos del Señor, para que pueden así afrontar la vida desde la visión y voluntad de Dios y estamos convencidos que así estamos aportando en la transformación del mundo, donde cada día mas se pierden los valores humanos y cristianos.

Responsables: padre Edgar Martínez y ministerio de catequesis de la parroquia.

2. ESTUDIO DE LA BIBLIA Y  EVANGELIZACIÓN: Los días miércoles a las 7:00 pm en el basement de la oficina. Es un grupo abierto a todos los que quieran ser discípulos-apóstoles del señor.

La formación tiene un dinamismo inspirador:Es el encuentro con Jesucristo vivo que lleva a la conversión, al discipulado, a la comunión, a la celebración de la fe especialmente en la Eucaristía como fuente, centro y culmen de la vida del cristiano, a la solidaridad y a la misión.

Responsable:padre Edgar Martínez y ministerio de evangelización de la parroquia. (Cristian  y Mónica Jeri)

3. GRUPO DE CATEQUISTAS: los días miércoles a las 4 pm en el basement de la oficina. Es un grupo abierto a todos, los que quieran formarse como maestros en la fe y luego ser su testigo en medio de los bautizados y que quieren madurar su fe.

Responsable:  padre Edgar Martínez y ministerio de catequesis de la parroquia.

4. COMUNIDAD ESPIRITU NACIENTE:  los días miércoles.  A las 9:00 am. En alguna de las casas de los miembros.

Responsable: Maribel Noblecilla.

5. COMUNIDAD CRISTO VIVO: los días viernes. A las  7:30  pm En alguna de las casas de los miembros.

RESPONSABLE: Julio y Claudia Tamayo.

Estas comunidades buscan hacerse discípulos del Señor, donde el centro de sus vidas es el Señor Jesús y movidos solo por el Espíritu Santo.

6. GRUPO CARISMATICO: de 7:30 a 8:30 pm los días jueves en el basement de la Oficina.

RESPONSABLE: Joaquín Reyes

7. GRUPO MAGNIFICAT: (Rosario Peregrino en los hogares) de 7:30 a 8:30 pm los jueves.

RESPONSABLE: Ricardo y Luisa Amelia Boscan.

Este grupo tiene como objetivo, fortalecerse en su camino de conversión, acercarse mas a María Madre de Dios, compartir en comunidad y darse fuerzas unos a otros para seguir caminando de la mano del Señor; no solo en el día del Rosario sino en cualquier momento, como amigos, cuando alguno está enfermo o en necesidad allí estamos para apoyarnos.

Es un grupo abierto, si alguien tiene la necesidad de orar y acercarse al Señor, saben que estan todos los jueves reunidos y serán bienvenidos.

8. MOVIMIENTO DE VIDA CRISTIANA: se reúnen los últimos sábados de cada mes a las 3:30 en el basement de la Oficina.

RESPONSABLE: Edward y Alina Espinoza.

9. COMUNIDAD JUVENIL: los días domingos a las 3:30 pm. En el salón de la cafetería de la parroquia.

RESPONSABLE: Ramón Matos y Emily Gómez.

Esta comunidad tiene como objetivo, Orientar y acompañar a los Jóvenes en su proceso de maduración humana y cristiana, profundizando desde allí su compromiso bautismal, en un proceso de maduración en la fe.  Descubriendo y siguiendo a Jesucristo, desde su realidad personal y comunitaria, hasta su capacitación, optando vocacionalmente en la Iglesia y comprometiéndose históricamente en la liberación integral del hombre y la sociedad desde los valores del Evangelio.

Somos jóvenes que deseamos formarnos, para formar a otros jóvenes y así dar Gloria a Dios,

Siendo testigos de su evangelio, en los diferentes campos en que nos toque vivir y servir a nuestro

Señor Jesucristo.

10. TALLERES DE ORACION Y VIDA: los días martes a las 7:00 pm en el besement de la oficina.

RESPONSABLE:   Pedro Gutiérrez.

11. ENCUENTRO DE PAREJAS:  El último domingo  de cada mes a las 3:30 pm en el besement de la oficina.

RESPONSABLES: Pareja de Esposos José y Damaris Cornielle.

12. CORO: los días domingos a las 5:00 pm en la iglesia.

RESPONSABLE:Elsa leo.

13. GRUPO DE ACOLITOS: los domingos a las 5:00 pm en la iglesia.

RESPONSABLE: Edward  Feijo.

Es importante la labor que realizan los niños y niñas al servicio del altar. Por eso ellos deben  tomar  conciencia de la presencia del Señor en cada acción litúrgica y conozcan y mediten la palabra de Dios que se proclama y así este grupo se convierta en fuente de vida desde donde se prepare a las niñas y niños para la celebración festiva de su fe, en la acción litúrgica. En donde este grupo debe constituirse en germen de vocación de cristianos auténticos, al servicio de Dios.

Para  participar en estos programas por favor contactarme o inscribirse en la oficina de la Parroquia.

En caso de emergencia: enfermedad grave o muerte inminente, por favor comunicarse al teléfono de la Parroquia 905-844 7971. En caso de responder la contestadora, favor dejar mensaje y será respondido a la mayor brevedad posible.

Anímate a ser un verdadero discípulo del Señor y un autentico miembro de la Iglesia. En ello encontraras Alegría y Gozo en la Tierra y Salvación para la Vida Eterna.

Dear brothers and sisters,

I send you  greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ. Here are parish activities that are being offered after the holidays.

I communicate several things that they can be very helpful:

AS REGARDS THE SACRAMENTS:

1. Bautizo: is held the first Sunday of every month at 2: 00 pm. The talks to parents and godparents, are the third Wednesday of each month at 7: 00 pm. In meeting room beside the Church Office.

Responsable: Father Edgar Martinez and the couple of spouses José and Damaris Cornielle.

2. PRIMERAS COMMUNIONES:  (First Communion) Registrations have been taken since June through August. And the catechesis will begin Tuesday September 7^th at 6: 30 pm in meeting room beside the Church Office.  

Responsable: The Catechist Veronica Reyes.

3. Confirmación:Registrations have been taken since June. The catechesis began on Sunday September 5^th at 3: 30 pm in the meeting room in the Church.  

Responsable: Ramón Matos and his wife Emily Gómez.

4. Matrimonio: contact Fr. Edgar at least twelve months in advance.

To register for these Sacraments contact the Parish Office speak with Fr. Edgar or Kathleen Fitzpatrick, Trish Wiencis, Fr. Bob or Fr. Mike.

5. SACRAMENTO DE LA CONFESION: (Sacrament of  Confession) :the week contact me to my cell: 905 599 9720. Sundays at 5:30 before mass in reconciliation room. 

6. LA SANTA MISA:(Holy Mass) is every Sunday at 6 pm. And we have Sunday school for children from 4 years through age for 1st Communion. Children are called to the front of the altar by the Father at the start of the Eucharist and brought by the catechists to a meeting room in the rectory so they can come to know the Lord in simple language and chants. Children return to the Church in the Presentation of Offerings. All volunteer adults require Police Check.

7. ANOINTING of the SICK: If your family member is sick please call us to attend to them through this wonderful sacrament, to bring comfort, strength and hope.

IN THE PASTORAL: We have the following programs that are being provided:

1. CATECHISMO PARA NINOS: (Catechism for children) 4 and 12 years on Tuesdays beginning October 5th at 4 pm. at St. Jose on Old Bronte Rd.

For children, to help form them as disciples of the Lord, able to look at life from the vision and will of God. We are convinced that we are thus contributing to the transformation of the world, where every day human and Christian values are lost.

Responsable:Father Edgar Martinez and Ministry of catechesis of the parish.

2. ESTUDIO DE LA BIBLIA Y EVANGELIZACION:(Study of the Bible and Evangelization)  Wednesday at 7: 00 pm in the basement office days. A group open to all those who want to be disciple/apostle of the Lord.

Training is inspiring and dynamic:  the encounter with the living Jesus:  conversion, discipleship, communion, especially in the Eucharist as a center and Summit of the life of the Christian faith holding, solidarity and the mission.

Responsable:Father Edgar Martínez and Ministry of evangelization of the parish. (Christian and Monica Jeri)

3. Catequista: (Catechists)Beginning on Friday September 10^th from 9:45 to 10:45 - in the Rectory Basement Meeting Room. A group open to all those who want to train as a teacher in faith and then its witness in the midst of the baptized and who want to grow their faith.

Responsable:Father Edgar Martinez and Ministry of catechesis of the parish.

4. COMUNIDAD ESPIRITU NACIENTE : Community Growing in the Spirit: Wednesdays  at 9: 00 am. In one of member’s home.

Responsable: Maribel Noblecilla.

5. COMUNIDAD CRISTO VIVO: (Community Alive in Christ) Friday. 7: 30 p.m. in any of the houses of the members.

Responsible: July and Claudia Tamayo.

These communities are seeking to become disciples of the Lord, where the center of their lives is the Lord Jesus and only moved by the Holy Spirit.

6. GRUPO CARISMATICO: (Charismatic Group)on Thursdays 7:30 to 8:30 pm in meeting room in basement of the Rectory.

Responsable: Joaquín Reyes

7. GRUPO MAGNIFICAT: (Rosary Pilgrims) Thursdays 7:30 to 8:30 pm in homes

Responsable: Richard and Louise Amelia Boscan.

This group has as objectives, strengthen in the course of conversion, bring more to Mary Mother of God, sharing community and giving strength to each other to continue walking in the way of the Lord; not only on the day of the Rosary, but anytime, as friends, when one is sick or in need we are there to support each other.

It is an open Group, if someone has the need to pray and to move closer to the Lord, they are all gathered together on Thursdays and all arewelcome.

8. MOVIMIENTO DE VIDA CRISTIANO: (Christian Life Movement)  last Saturday of each month at 3: 30 in the meeting room in the basement  of the Rectory.

Responsible: Edward and Alina Espinoza.

9. Community juvenil:  Sundays at 3: 30 pm. In the Church meeting room.

Representations: Ramón Matos and Emily Gómez.

This community has as objectives: to orient and accompany youth in their human and Christian maturity process further from their baptism; to engage them in a process of maturation in the faith; to discover and follow Jesus, in their community, and in their personal life; to choose a vocation in church and commit to the release of the values of Gospel among people and in society.

We are young people we train ourselves, to train young people and thereby giving glory to God,

Witnessing his Gospel, in the different fields in which we touch live and serve in our Lord Jesus Christ. 

10. TALLERES DE ORACION Y VIDA (Workshop on prayer and life): Tuesday at 7: 00 pm in St. Michael School Library. 

Responsible for: Pedro Gutierrez.

11. ENCUENTRO DE PAREJAS: (Meeting of Couples) Last Sunday of every month at 3:30 pm in the meeting room in basement of Rectory.

Responsible: Married couple:Joseph and Damaris Cornielle.

12. Coro: (Choir)  Sundays at 5: 00 pm in the Church.

Responsable:Elsa Leo.

13. ACOLITOS: (Altar Servers Group)Sundays at 5: 00 p.m. in the Church.

Responsable: Edward Feijo.

It is important to the work of children in the service of the altar. Why they should be aware of the presence of the Lord in each liturgical action and are aware of and reflect the word of God that is proclaimed and thus this group becomes a source of life from which children are prepared for the festive celebration of their faith in the liturgical action. This group can be the beginning  of vocation of authentic Christians at the service of God.
