Are you wondering about the new translation of the Mass according to the 3rd Roman Missal for the Roman Catholic Church?

The following sites may help to answer your some of your questions. The first two sites refer to the R.C. Church in the United States but what they describe is true for all English speaking Conferences of Bishops including the Canadian Conference.     Pope Benedict XVI erected the Chaldean Eparchy of Canada with the title of Mar Addai Chaldean Toronto and appointed Archbishop Hanna Zora first Bishop of the new Eparchy, transferring it from the See of Ahwaz and retain the title of Archbishop ad personam .

Archbishop Hanna Zora
Archbishop Hanna Zora was born in Batna (Alquoch - Iraq) 13 March 1937.
Ordained a priest June 10, 1962, was elected Archbishop of Ahwaz the Chaldeans (Iran) on 1 May 1974, being an Iraqi citizen.
In February 1987 he left Iran, remained in Rome until in 1993 he was responsible for the pastoral care of the Chaldean community in Canada, which is responsible for this.
Statistics
The total number of Chaldean Christians in Canada is around 38,000. Pastoral care was previously offered by the Archbishop Hanna Zora SE as a community leader in Toronto, under the jurisdiction of the Latin Archbishop of Toronto, and four priests.

Most of the Chaldean Christians are concentrated in certain areas of the country: Toronto, Montreal, London, Windsor, Hamilton,  London, Oakville, Saskatoon, Vancouver and Ottawa.

With the establishment of the new Eparchy, dedicated to Mar Addai , Archbishop Zora became its first bishop. The Church of Mar Addai in Toronto, recently consecrated by the Chaldean Patriarch, SB Em.ma Cardinal Emmanuel III Delly, was elevated to a Cathedral eparchial.

Fr. Niaz S Toma  is Pastor for members of the Chaldean Catholic Community which celebrates in Hamilton and Oakville. The local celebrations take place at San Jose/St. Joseph Portuguese Church on Old Bronte Rd.
