The Catholic Women’s League’s of Canada is a national organization rooted in gospel values
calling its members to holiness through service to the peoples of God.
Can you be a member?
Any women over 18 years of age can join the Catholic Women’s League.
1. The yearly fee is $20.00.
2. Our meetings are every 4th Monday of the month.
3. You may be an active or non active participant.
4. Our meetings start with the celebration of Mass at 7:00 p.m.
5. Everyone is welcome to come to a meeting and get acquainted.
Calendar of Upcoming Events
With Fall fast approaching we welcome everyone back to our regular meetings, and Special Events for the Fall. We pray everyone had a good summer and a much needed rest.
This is an Election Year for our Council to choose a new executive for 2011 -2012. All positions are open to nominees and are for a 2 year term. All Catholic women over 18 years and with paid membership are eligible to be nominated. Please consider offering your services to your Parish Council. The election will be held on November 22, 2010.
The Parish Bazaar needs many items and hands to make the day a success. Please consider donating some new items for the Penny Draw, your Bake Goods, and time to help on the day would be appreciated. Please feel free to call the Parish 905-844-7971 and ask for Fran or call her at home 905-845-7847
Monday, September 27, 2010: Mass at 7:00 p m. Welcoming of everyone back.
Guest Speaker will be SAVIS of Halton with an informal discussion on Senior Issues.
Monday, October 25, 2010: Mass at 7:00 p m.
Guest Speaker will be Steven Sztricsko. He will be discussing financial issues’, such as, income splitting, taxation and other government benefits. Nominations for Parish Council executive.
Friday, October 1, 2010: Fall Euchre Party at St. Michael’s School Gym at 7:30 pm.
Tickets: $ 5:00 at the door. Lots of prizes, good refreshments. Free parking is behind the church. Entrance to the school is at the back of the school Door #5.
Saturday November 6, 2010: St. Michael’s Catholic Women’s League Parish Bazaar
165 Sewell Dr. from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Entrance to the School from the back parking lot through school Door 5. Raffle, Penny Draw, Bake Table, Tea Room, and Children’s Corner Books, Nearly New, and much more. Everyone Welcome. For more information contact Fran: 905 -845-7847
Monday, November 22, 2010: Mass at 7:00p m.
Meeting will be the Parish Council Elections, followed by a Bazaar Wrap Up and Thank You Reception.

Mary Mother of God hosts a Ladies Appreciation Lunch at their Parish from 12 -2 p.m. Lunch is free. Must R.S.V.P. by calling Olivia 905-257-2409 before September 7, 2010.

Hamilton Regional Meetings for the Catholic Women’s League. Hosted by Mary Mother of God Parish. Begins with Mass at 9 a.m. All Catholic Women League members are welcome to attend.

Candlelight Service sponsored by Mary Mother of God at 7 p.m. everyone is welcome to attend. The Service is followed by refreshments.
